Q.

Liquid Intake

I am wondering how much liquid my 3 year old child should get during the day? All her friends drink alot yet my child drinks only about 200ml a day? Is that okay? What is the average.

Your child needs about 120ml of fluid for every kilogram she weighs per day. Your daughter is definitely not drinking enough. Aim for a minimum of 1 litre of fluid a day and encourage her to drink water. She needs a maximum of 2 cups of milk per day.
