Q.

Life things in son''s bowel movement

Hi Doc,

My son (4years) had a bit of upset tummy last night, I''m sure it must have been something he ate cause he didn''t have fever experience any cramps and also no nausea.
We did however see something in his stool, not sure what it was but was definetely moving. Could this be tiny worms? If not what could this be? Should I be worried? should we consult a doctor and should I take a stool sample with me?

Thanks Doc

Rosa

This does sound like worms. You should just give your son a course of Vermox syrup. The dose is 5ml of the Vermox syrup given twice a day for 3 days.
