Hi Doc, my 6 months old son was giggling in his sleep on tuesday. I know they smile while sleeping, but he was laughing out loud. Am i worrying about nothing here?

This is not uncommon and most mother's are delighted to hear their baby laugh while asleep. Some people say that this is a sign of a happy baby.

There is nothing to worry about, my child is 3 months and has been laughing and jerking in her sleep for ages.
I think they just have overactive imaginations.

She even cried in her sleep once, like someone that had a nightmare
