LB has diarrhea &  severe nappy rash

Hi Doc,

My son has had diarrhea since last Wednesday. I took him to our family doctor and gave us medicine (Ilvitrim suspension &  allergex), however his condition hasn' t improved and as a result he has a severe nappy rash  paiful red patches on his bum. He cries so much at every nappy change. We are using disposable nappies and I' m giving him rehydrat. Is there any OTC medication I can buy to help with his diarrhea and nappy rash?

Your baby has had diarrhoea for 5 days and needs to have the body salts replaced that he has lost. So give him frequent sips of a Rehidrat solution which you must make up for him.Apply Sudacreme nappy cream to his nappy rash. Also give him probiotic drops for 10 days to replace the normal, good bacteria in his system. Use Reuteri drops 1ml daily.

Someone at my work told me to use the Natura products. It is all natural and safe for infants and there is one for Diarrhea. It worked wonders for my one year old when the precription didn' t work.
