Q.

Lactovita

Is it ok to give my nearly year old baby boy the lactovita every evening in his bottle, he is on Lactogen 3 now, and that also has flora in it, he has runny tummies often due to teething, so I give this to him...is that ok...it is a flora right..should I give it more often than once a day?
Thanks

As far as I am aware Lactovita has not been tested for safety in babies, so it cannot presently be recommended for your nearly 1 year old son. You can use Reuterina or Probiflora if you wish to give your baby a probiotic. The usual dose is once daily and 10 days a month is enough.
