Q.

lactose free milk

hi doc

i posted a question about my baby' s diarrhoea which is ongoping for 8 days now and u told me to go see my dr as it could be a viral infection, i called at my storks nest and the nurse said that maybe baby' s milk should be changed to lactose free until the diarrhoea settles and continue with probiotic?? is that fine

thanks so much for your assistance he isn' 
t feverish and some poohs are more solid however he is going out after every feed

It is a good idea to use a lactose free milk for at least 1 month. The usual recommendation is a soya milk such as Isomil, but you can also try a lactose free cow's milk formula such as NAN LF.
