keratosis pilaris skin condition in 1 yr old girl

my little girl was diagnosed as having kp - a dry skin condition - by her paediatrician at 11months. she is now 13 months old. he said using glycerine soap for babies is always beneficial, and use epizone e cream to moisturise. i have not see an improvement since being told what to do. she has had this condition since at least 6 months of age. he says it is not allergy related. i have found info on the net, focusing especially on apple cider vinegar for treatment of this condition. but all the info is mostly for older children or adults and i' m not sure how to go about treating her. i am also wanting to get her an omega supplement as this might help for the kp, and she' s gone off drinking any form of milk, completely, for about a month now and i can only give it to her at night when she wakes up from sleep. i would like her to sleep through so want to stop offering her milk. she eats lots of yogi and mozarella cheese so does get dairy in. she is on an iron supplement - ferrimed syrup or something - and has since the start of it slept a bit better, with exceptions at teething time. have you any advice on the kp, and is there an omega supplement you would recommend? lastly: if i want to give her a general boost for this winter time, what would you recommend. thank you for your time and expertise.

This is aninherited condition which is difficult to treat. The mainstay of treatment is the use of moisturisers. Try using Epimax as the moisturiser for your baby. A very good omega supplement is Eye Q. It would be best to use a probiotic to boost her immunity during winter. Try Probiflora or Reuteri.
