Keratosis Pilaris

Hi Dr
I finally have an answer to my sons constant rash on his cheeks and upper arms. He was diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris. Thankfully his case is not severe but my paed did say it would take a while to clear. He recommended I use a mild exfoliator such as Eucerin as well as plenty of moisturiser.
I would like to know if it is safe for me to continue using Bennets aqueous bath drops (bath oil) in his bath or would this cause his pores to become more blocked and secondly, I sometimes put a layer of vaseline (Blue Seal) on my son' s skin after his moisturiser (only non fragrance etc) has been absorbed to " seal"  the skin and retain moisture. Is this suitable for his skin condition? I did not think to ask these questions at my appointment as we were there for a few other things and I am still learning about Keratosis.
Thank you in advance for your advice and opinions, it is always appreciated.

Thank you, you are welcome. You must not use any Vaseline on your son's skin and also not the Bennets bath oil as this will aggravate his skin condition.Eucerin is an excellent moisturiser. Another very good one would be Physiogel AI.
