Q.

Jelly and Energade for toddler

Hi doc
Is jelly and Energade good for a toddler during diarrhea? Also is it fine to take a toddler from 17mnths old off fresh milk if it seems that he might be allergic to milk? Are there any replacement for milk if he still needs milk at this age? Please advise urgently.

Rather use an electrolyte solution to replace lost fluid and body salts caused by the diarrhoea. Rehidrat is a good choice.Soya milk is a good replacement for cows milk for this age group.

Try Parmalat Lactose Free milk. My daughter is allergic and loves this milk.
