Q.

Itchy anus

Dear Doc

My almsot 3y old boy has been batteling with an itchy anus for a the last two weeks. He is potty trained but I still wipe his bottom and we still use wet wipes. I also dewormed him since the itch started. I have been using fissan paste. It seem like it is itchy right inside his anus and I cant see a rash anywhere. What else can I try.

Thank you

This is almost certainly due to pinworms which cause the symptoms you mention. Give your son a single dose of Vermox Syrup 100mg (5ml) Repeat the dose after 10 days and again after 3 months.
