Q.

Is this right

Dear Doc

My 6y old son was circumsized about 3 months ago on advise of my peadiatrician and urologist. My husband is not circumsized, so I do not know what it should look like after healing. My son has this thick piece of skin under the head of his penis. Is this normal? The urologist at the time said we only need to go back if there is problems, and we can only get an appointment for the end of October now. In the meantime I would just like to put my mind at ease. He has no discomfort and he is so much better since the op, so we are glad we had it done - just not sure about this skin.

Thank you

This is normal after a circumcision and there is no need for any concern.
