Q.

is it worth getting a humidifier?

my 6 month old has a cold again. using saline for the congested nose and karvol drops in hot water in a little bowl in his room. also i elevate his head when sleeping. everyone is telling me to get a humidifier. will this help with the blocked nose? also what besides breastfeeding can i do to boost his immune system?

If you live in an area with low normal humidity such as on the Highveld it would be worthwhile getting a humidifier. It is not necessary where the humidity is high such as in the coastal cities of SA. Use Reuteri infant drops to boost your baby's natural immunity.
