Q.

Is it advisable?

Good morning doctor

I would like to know if its advisable or necessary to take my 10 month old little boy for a flu injection like we adults do? I dont want him to get sick. I am a stay-at-home mom so little one doesn' t go to a creche.

And then I would also like to know why is little one waking up crying 4-5 times a night? When he cries we put him in our bed, but that also doesn' t help much. He used to sleep through from 11 weeks. Is it the night terrors again or is it teething? He got his first tooth on 10 May and has 3 now.

Thank you so much for all the help thus far.

As your baby is at home it is probably not necessary for him to have the flu injection. It sounds as if teething is his problem at night. The use of a teething gel and Panado if he is very uncomfortable should help him.
