Q.

Insect Bites

My 2 year old son is prone to insect bites lately. Whenever he gets bitten, the spot where he is bitten become raised and watery. What can I do to prevent the bites and how do I treat them? I' ve previously given him Celestamine when he had about 4 bite spots at a time.

Your son appears to be allergic to insect bites, probably mosquitoes. If he develops the rash give him an anthistamine called Allecet Syrup 5ml once daily. Apply Calamine lotion at least twice day to the insect bites.
