Inflammations and red rush/pimples

My son is 1yr 2months, I have noticed that everytime he visits the grandmother for more than 2 days or 3 he gets Inflammations and red rush/pimples all over the body (Mostly legs, arms and body). I have not seen them on the face or head.

My grandmother’ s house is in a different town 120km’ s way from my home. She does not have any pets at home. When he gets back the rush will stop developing any further but takes few weeks to disappear and leaves him with spots. Is there something I can give or apply to his body when he visits again? He is going there for seven days next week and I''m so worried that he’ s gonna come back full of these pimples.

Your son's rash sounds like an allergic reaction called 'papular urticaria' due insect bites.Mosquito bites or sand flea bites are the most common cause. You can apply Phenergan cream to the pimples and this should relieve the swelling and itching. Also give your baby a safe antihistamine syrup such as Allecet syrup 2.5ml [half a teaspoonful] at night for as long as the rash is present.
