My grandson was taken to hospital where they claimed he had infection in the muscles because he could not stand on his legs.He gets colds and flu very often and has also got ear troubles. Is there something underlying that does not get detected?I am at my wits end already beccause he is forever sick. Please help me with some answers.

This does sound like a viral infection affecting the muscles or the nerve supply to his legs, This may be an illness called Guillain Barre syndrome where there is a temporary paralysis of the legs. This may progress and involve other parts of his body before he starts to get better. Ask your daughter if she has been given a diagnosis of her son's illness. If you have a diagnosis please let me know and I will advise you further.
