Q.

infant / toddler

i have a 15month old boy and a 5 month old girl, both have picked up the flu and are coughing for 2 weeks now, the cough is phlegmy but not whezing, my son wakes up i nthe middle of the night choking and coughing and then vomiting.
they have been to the paed and he has given them prospan and also adco linctus.... nothing is helping please advise
what could be wrong, i even tried changing the milk, my daughter use to take nan 1, now she is on infacare soya

Your 15 month old son has whooping cough syndrome and should be treated for this. His present treatment is not the correct medicine for whooping cough.Your baby may have caught the same virus as she has been coughing for longer than expected. Please ask your paediatrician to see your children.
