Q.

Infant Gaviscon

Hi Doc

In one of my previous posts you said I can use half a sachet of Gaviscon per feed for my baby (7 weeks old). Did you refer to the Infant Gavison? The Infant Gaviscon is no longer available on the shelfs, I have contacted a few pharmacies. They only have the original Gaviscon in aniseed and peppermint flavour and it' s in a fluid format. Can I use that how much?

I am not happy about you using the normal Gaviscon for your baby. If the sachets are not available the best option would be to use an acid reducing medicine such as Losec. You should speak to your paediatrician.
