Q.

Infant formula

Baby had gastro at 4 months. Dr suggested we mix Lactose free Nan and normal formula (lactogen). She is now 5 months. When should we stop lactose free formula? Should we stop at all?

It is usually wise to keep up the lactose free formula for at least 6 weeks. After that time you can stop it and see how your baby gets on. If she has loose stools or becomes windy on the Lactogen only then you will need to continue with the lactose free formula.
