Q.

Increasing time between feeds

My son is three weeks old and currently on Nan, as my blood pressure pills diminishesmy milk. He is taking three hour feeds which I would like to change to four hours, as I' m afraid the formula milk might make him fat. Is four hours too long between feeds for him and if not how do I increase the time without him " noticing" . He gets very demanding when he is hungry

Also, if a baby sleeps all day, does this mean he will be less tired at night?

Your baby should be on 3 hourly feeds now. The formula milk will not make him fat. He needs lots of sleep now and will only really wake for feeds.
