Q.

Illiadin

HI Doc,
Glad to say my 3yr old (almost 4) is handling the winter well, with occasional sniffles. However at times the runny nose does require treatment before anything worse happens. I have used Illiadin nasal spray about 3 weeks ago for 5 days, and his nose did clear up.
I am wondering how often can one use the spray, or the drops. How safe is it in the long-term?
many thanks - R

Iliadin nasal spray is safe to use for a maximum of 5 days at a time. You can repeat this treatment after about 4 weeks. It is safer to use a saline nasal spray or drops to clear your son's blocked nose when he has a cold.
