Q.

IGF-1 etc

Dear Prof

My son who is 28 months old had his growth follow-up on friday and the results were as follows:
IGF-1: 61
TSH: 2.26
FT4: 12.1
Urine Na+: 135
Bone age (Xray): estimated at 18 to 24 months

We are waiting to see the endo, but could you please just give a short opinion on whether this all looks normal for his age?

many thanks!

The IGF-1 is normal for your son's age, so is the TSH level, the FT4 and the sodium. The slightly delayed bone age is not a problem and can be considered to be normal for his age.So all of these tests can be considered to be normal.
