Q.

Ice eater

I just wanted to find out what the effects of eating ice blocks and fridge ice would have on my 2.2yr old son. He loves eating, does it pose any danger for him health and what exactly. and what can i do to stop him from eating it.

This is not as uncommon as you may think.There is no direct harm in your son eating ice blocks as such except that he may damage his teeth. Having said that it is common for children who have a low iron levels in their blood to eat ice blocks so you should have your son's blood tested to see if he is anaemic. They should check his iron levels at the same time.

Thanx for the advice, but this advice also talk about the Freezer ice - not sure what u call it.

Ice is just water so from that perspective it should be fine, just be careful he doesn''t choke on them or crack his teeth if he bites them.
