I give up

hi Doc,

Remember me??? the mom with the little girl who constantly gets high fevers of over 39.4 etc

Remember she was in hospital about a week and 1/2 ago with the RSV virus?

Well now she has a very runny tummy and has started vomiting, she has no fever, doesnt want to eat but will drink so we are giving her rehydrate and apple juice (1/2 rehydrate and 1/2 apple juice).

what can this be now? I cant get hold of her pead and someone suggested its teh RSV virus that can be working its way out of her system.

Sigh - i feel sorry for my little girl

This is not due to the RSV. There are 2 possibilities: 1] Your little girl has caught a gastro infection or 2] She has diarrhoea due to an antibiotic she may have had recently.
Give her a probiotic such as Reuteri drops, 5 drops every day,and give her frequent drinks of Rehidrat to replace fluid and electrolytes she is losing. If she continues to vomit she must be seen by a doctor. Please let me know how she gets on.
