Q.

Hypothermia

A person I know had a premature baby. She said he was born with hypothermia. She said that is why when he gets cold he struggles to warm up. Is this possible. Is there anything that we should be concerned about? His Mom is a tik addict and I often look after this baby.

Premature baies do run the risk of developing hypothermia. This is even more common in babies born to mothers who are Tik addicts. The best thing to do is to nurse this baby using the special 'kangaroo' method Read more about the knangaroo method of nursing premature babies on Google.
