Hepatitis A is viral ilness affecting the liver. It is spread by contact with an infected person especially when using the same utensils as an infected person which have not been properly cleaned Also when eating food handled by an infected person who has not washed their hands properly.Babies can be immunised against hepatitis A when they are 12 months old.
