Q.

hyperactive baby

Doc,
i' ve got a 21 month old toddler who is very active, from the time she wakes up in the morning till she gets her afternoon nap, she' s unstoppable, jumping up and down, running, blabbing(cos she' s learning to talk) etc. apart from that she' s very intelligent, she' s not in school yet but she memorizes stuff she watches on the TV and what ever she hears she repeats and so on.I do not give her sugary foods or treats but she' s so hyperactive. Is it a good thing or a disorder?

Your toddler just appears to be a healthy, very intelligent but rather active little girl who is full of life. She is particularly eager to learn so she should be in a playgroup where she will be kept busy. Read to her especially at bedtime.
