Hungry baby

My baby is just over 3 weeks old. She is on formula, and was drinking 100ml 6 times a day (every 4 hours). Last week at a clinic visit, she weighed 3,5kg. The last few days she has been wanting to feed after 2 hours. But doesn''t drink much, or if she does, she vomits it up. I tried increasing her bottles to 125ml, but she doesn''t always finish it, and when she does, she vomits. She doesn''t wind easily and has a stuffy nose (using Sterimar). At least once a day she will vomit up an entire bottle feed. Can she have water? Perhaps she is thirsty, not hungry?

Please can you give me some advice, as I''m feeling like a bad mom.

You should not give your baby any water. You do not mention your baby's birth weight, but your baby's present weight seems to be a bit low.Your baby will usually take as much formula as she needs. It may be her blocked nose that is causing her some difficulty in finishing her bottles. Her vomiting seems to be with a wind and only happens once a day,so this does not suggest that she has a reflux problem. It would be best if you took your baby to your nearest baby clinic so that you can be advised by the clinic sister there.
