How much food

Hello Doc

Welcome bck, hope you had a good holiday!

I have a daughter, she will be 5 in May.
My concern is that she eats A LOT!
I often tell her to stop eating if she has had enough, but she will say she is not full eat.
I mean, she can eat a whole KFC twister and some chips!!
She is maybe a little over weight, but nothing I am concerned about.
She is very active.
How do I know if she is overeating??
Sorry, I know this must be funny question, but I do not want to end up with an overweight child!

The only way that I can answer your question about whether your daughter is overeating is to know about her actual weight. You mention that she does not appear to be overweight. She needs to eat healthy meals that will fill her up. It is important that she when she eats starches that she eats mainly the low GI forms. You can get low GI breads and sweet potatoes are probably the best form of a natural low GI food. Read up as much as you can about healthy foods that will be of benefit to your daughter.
