Q.

How long still ????

Hi,
My 3 1/2 month old breastfed baby is still having stomach cramps. How much longer will this be happening and shouldn''t I try changing to formula. I''m exhausted and the crying is freaking me out, can''t handle it anymore. Using Teliment drops 15 min before every feed which seems to help most of the time. She will be going to the day mother in 2 weeks time and she still feeds every 3 hours, 24 hours a day. She power naps during the day (crying in between) but thank goodness sleeps between 2 1/2 to 3 hours at night (between feeds). Please help, I would like to stop breastfeeding. It seems she is teething aswell ? Could it be at this age ?

It sounds as if your baby daughter has quite bad colic. This usually stops at about the age your baby is now.She could be teething already.Try to continue breastfeeding her for as long as possible. 6 months would be good if you can.
