HONEY WATER

DEAR DR
CAN I GIVE MY 6 MONTH OLD BABY HONEY WATER FOR THE FLEM ON HER CHEST
I KNOW HONEY ITSELF IS NOT RECOMMENDED UNTIL A BABY IS ATLEAST ONE YEAR OF AGE
WHAT CAN I GIVE HER FOR THE FLEM

Do not give your baby any honey. In any case it will not help for her mucous. If her chest is very tight and especially if you can hear a wheeze on her chest it would be best if her doctor saw her.
