Q.

hoarse voice in 10 month old baby

Hello, my baby, 10 months old, suddenly started to get hoarse voice. She seems fine otherwise, a little fussy then usual, she does not have fever. She does not seem to have cold. What could it be? Shall I take her to her doctor?

This could be due to mild croup. Croup is usually due to a viral infection. As your baby does not appear to be distressed it is not necessary for her to see a doctor. As long as she can feed normally and sleep normally all is OK and she should get better by herself in about 2 days.
