Q.

High Temperature

My 14 week old could not stop crying until I took temperature which indicated 38.4degrees she is due for immunisation tomorrow will this have any effect. I gave her Panado and dabbed her with a wet cold towel, she slept and temperature dropped. Is there cause to worry.

Thank you

There is cause for concern here as your baby has a very high fever. She cannot have her immunisation while she has a fever. She should be seen by a doctor as she may have an ear infection or a bladder infection or a viral illness.
