herbalife and sleeping through?

my little boy is 1 year old. he is a very restless sleeper and wakes 2-4 times a night. i have been breatsfeeding and he mostly wants a breastfeed when waking other times he just wants to be held then goes back to sleep. i did a bit of sleep training on him which helped a bit but i really hate to leave him to cry and also found when he teethes he goes back to sleeping badly. so dont really want to put us both through the trauma of sleep training again. someone on the parenting forum said she had the same problem and now gives her baby a teaspoon of herbalife nutrional shake with his nightime bottle and he has been sleeping through since. do you think this is safe? it is natural but i would hate to give anything harmful. i am just wondering if he is lacking something. he has quite a balanced diet and can be a bit fussy but generally eats well.

Your baby's behaviour is very common. In essence he has become used to the routine of waking up for feeds at various times of the night. This may be aggravated by teething. I have no experience with the use of Herbalife and do not know if it is safe for babies. These days sedatives of any kind are not recommended for babies.

Herballife is NOT a sedative! Please go to their website, theres lots of info, and its been in SA and right over the world for a very long time, its not a new thing. Its ussually used for some-one who tries to loose weight or try to maintain a healthy life style! The shake is basically a mealreplacement and its full of vitamins and minerals!
