help with baby

hi doctor, my baby boy is almost 5 months old, he cries non stop. We''ve been to doctors so many times, he has grommits, he''s been on Losec for almost a week now, but still he cries all the time. It feels like i am going insane. I dont know what to do anymore and no one seems to be able to help. Could it just be colic???? He eats and drinks well, cries all day so he battles napping well, he does sleep well at night and the only thing that i do different at night is give him probiflora pead in his last bottle.

There is no doubt that there must be a reason why your baby is crying like this. He is on Losec so it is unlikely to be due to acid reflux. He has grommets so it is not his ears. He is now 'too old' for colic. He may be a hungry baby or a baby with lactose intolerance or be teething. Try the hungry baby possibility first by changing his feed to Lactogen1.If he does not settle apply a teething gel to his lower gums twice daily and see if this helps. If again this does not help then try him on a lactose free formula such as NAN LF .
