Heating system for kids

Dear Doc, im currently based in Europe, and due to extreme weather conditions and long winters, gas heating system is generally used, especially in houses. I would like to find out if it has any health implications for my 2 year old twin girls. They drink lots of water at night.

Thank you in advance for your advice

This kind of heating has been used for a very long time and is usually perfectly safe. It does dry out the air in the house and that is why your twins get thirsty at night. It may be useful to use a humidifier in their bedroom. These are simple and cheap devices and will make a difference while the heating is being used.
