Q.

headaches and vomitting

Hi
My 6 year old daughter (7years in 2 months) started vomitting last yesterday at creche and then started complaining about headaches the whole of last night (headaches and vomitting every hour untill this morning 6am). i spoke to the school teacher and they say that everytime she has to get up onto a stage she gets sick, could this be cause she gets nervous (tonights her graduation). School also says that i should still take her to the peadiatrician just incase it''s not the nerves.
any ideas?

Paediatrician

I do not think that this is due to nerves. As these symptoms can be due to meningitis in particular you should take your daughter to be seen by a doctor. It would be best to take her to an emergency after hours paediatric clinic.
