headaches

my 10yr old suffers with continous headaches .Ihave taken him for an eye test it was all fine. he takes panados 4 times a day i beingiing to get worried is this normal.

It is always important to take notice of headaches in a child, especially continuous headches. Your son's headaches are so severe that he has to take Panado as often as 4 times day to get some relief.His headaches may be due to sinus infection or migraine, but there are some very serious causes of headaches like this that need to be excluded. DEFINATELY not normal! Please have him checked out! There are sooo man y things that can cause headaches. Check for cronic sinus, recurring ear infections, maybe a infected tooth. But also, just for peace of mind ask your GP to refer him for a CAT scan and EEG... Please
