This sounds like a condition which commonly occurs in babies called seborrhoea which is also known as cradle cap. Your baby's seborrhoea seems to be quite troublesome and has not responded to mild baby oil. Try using a little Mylocort ointment on his scalp after you have washed his scalp and hair with a baby shampoo such as Elizabeth Anne. Only use the Mylocort ointment applied very thinly on his scalp and only once a day.Do not the ointment for more than 5 days at a time.
