Q.

Head (2)

Thank you for that, he is having his tonsils and adenoids removed at the end of this month and his ears drained, will this help. I will have to monitor him after that and if the " rattling"  sound is till there i will definately have him checked by a specialist.

Many thanks

You are welcome. It is very likely that the 'rattling' sound your son has been complaining about is due to fluid in his middle ears. This is called 'glue ear' I see that he is due to have grommets put in his ears to drain this fluid. This should help to stop his complaint. If the rattling still continues after he has had the operation, please mention this to the ENT.
