Q.

hard stools

my 7 months old baby has difficulty in passing stools,when she do it she make a sound and tears comes from her eyes that someone wil hear in a distance (if im in the kitchen and shes (baby) in the bedroom). The stools are very hard.She eats mabela and NAN Pellargon and im breastfeeding,She drinks 750ml water 3x a day.
Which over- the -counter medication can i buy for a 5 year old child who has dry cough,and runny nose.

It is unusual for a baby of this age to become constipated while on NAN Pelaargon and breastmilk. It may be that the Mabella is aggravating this. Try her on a maize cereal and give her Purity apple and Purity pear. It may help to change her formula to Lactogen2. See if this helps her and let me know if she still has problems.
Cough mixtures are no longer advised for young children. Simply use a saline solution such as Salex nose drops to clear your 5-year old's nose.
