Q.

growth charts

Dr, my baby boy is 21 months old....His weight has been almost the same for the last 4 months...10.5kg. His lenght is 86.5cm. I looked at the growth charts and he is only on the 20th% for his weight and around the 90% for his lenght. IIs this normal to have such a big gap between his lenght and weight? Do I need to worry about is weight? Thanx, Ps...He looks happy and content....

This is a good question. Your son may just be taking after his Dad in his build or possibly after one or other of his grandfathers. He seems to be growing well and will be very tall one day, but will have a slim build. There does not appear to be any need for concern.
