Q.

Growing pains or not

My 4 year old is complaining about her knee paining, its not swollen or making any funny cracking sounds....so I assume its just growing pains- as I know growing pains starts around this time and only occurs at night - as such in her case. But, could I be mistaken, would it rather be better for me to go to a doctor about this...as I feel I should??...

Concerned...

I think you can be quite confident that your daughter has growing pains. The important point is that her knee joint is not swollen or red. Just give her Panado or Calpol if she complains about pain.
