Good day Docter

My son is 2 years and 2 months old. He has a greyish ring around the iris part of his eyes. Please advise what I can give him to treat it or shoud I go to an eye specialist?

Grey rings around the iris may sometimes occur in children who are exposed to wood or coal smoke or pollution.Sometimes it may be an early sign of raised cholesterol. Most times no cause is found. It would be a good idea to ask an optician to see your son just to be sure that all is well with his eyes and that there is no need for any further investigation to be done.
