Green mucus

Sorry, me again, doc!

My little girl has allergies, so if she eats something funny, she starts coughing, and it later ends up in her chest.
Her mucus, that I suck out with the baby vac, are sometimes a bit greenish...
She as been on antibiotics A LOT this year, was just wondering at what point are antibiotics really neccessary?

Thank you so much for all your advice!!!

You are always welcome. It does sound as if your little girl has developed another chest infection. Her coughing is not due to an allergy. Her infection is probably due to a virus infection so you could try to see how things develop. Keep her nose clear by using saline nose drops and give her Mucospect syrup to clear her chest of mucous. If her cough worsens or if she develops a fever or cannot drink or eat properly then she may need an antibiotic.
