Paediatrician

You have given a good description of your daughter's problem. This is most unlikely to be due to gout, but with your strong family history of arthritis this is the most likely cause. Young children can develop rheumatoid arthritis [called Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis] and it is essntial for your daughter to be examined and blood tests done by a paediatrician as soon as possible.
