General Question

Hi Professor, hope you are well..
Just a general question - when do children who go to creche from babies get stronger? Some say 3 some say 4? Also when is the best age for a child to go to creche if they have never been before?

This is a difficult question to answer ,but in general children become less susceptinble to the many early childhood viral infections when they are 3 to 4 years old.So there is no clear cut-off age. If your child has to go to a creche and you have some choice about this decision, try to wait until your child is at least 2 years old.

Thank you for asking, we are also in 2 minds on when to sent our 9 month old girl to creche! Some people say that children only really start to interact from age 2 and its best to keep your little one at home until then! I still believe that the sooner they get together with other babies/ children the better they will adjust when they are older? And then of cause there''s the issue of children constantly falling ill when at creche!
Would also appreciate some advice on this!
