Q.

General Amount of food required for 19 month old to grow

Hi Dr
Could you please give me an idea of how much food a 19 month old boy should consume between his 3 meals a day plus snacks?

Also an idea of how much they should be drinking per day?

Should they be eating the same food as the family by now - for eg if the family has roast chicken and veggies / spaghetti bolognaise / hamburgers / hot dogs / stew or even sandwiches for a meal should the child be able to eat those quite easily?

Thanks
Peta

I will leave the details of this question for our regular forum members to answer. In general your child should be eating with the family and should enjoy a good healthy diet with lots of vegetables and fruit.
