Q.

Fussy eater does not sleep well

My baby is 17 months. He eats well at creche but not at home. He hardly eats. He goes to bed at 7pm and wakes after 1 hour crying. I then calm him down only for him to wake again an hour or so later. This repeats for about 3 or 4 times per night. I don''t know what to do. He drinks 300ml Parmalat First Growth Milk before going to sleep and is not sick at all.

Your little toddler eats well at the creche and is not hungry when he is at home in the evening. He drinks a good amount of milk at bedtime so he should not be hungry. In spite of this you should always offer him his solids in the evening before giving him his bottle before bedtime. You mention that he is well. So it seems that he has developed this habit of frequent waking through the night which is exhausting for you.It seems that your best approach would be the ''controlled crying'' method.[Look this up on Google] This is hard on the nerves but will be successful if you persist.
