Fussy bottle feeder

My daughter has started this new fussy feeding frustrating!!! She never did this before...

She starts to drink from her bottle eagerly and hungrily but then fusses and cries and wont finish the whole feed...

I burp her...she fights me at that too...she never used too...she used to just sit there and let me pat her back...winds came up so problems....but now she wont even sit still for me to burp her....she pushes me ...refuses to be burped...then she cries...i offer her more formula ...she takes to the bottle easily....then takes 2 sips and fusses again..... whats going on?
Was told weeks ago by her Paed that she has a bit of reflux...she never fussed then...why now? She is still on her Zantac and Buscopan....

Pls help!!

This is not a reflux problem but your daughter is swallowing air with her feeding as she is a greedy feeder. It is all the air in her stomach that is causing her symptoms. Try a different teat, one that is wider and flatter in shape with a relatively small opening for the milk to come through.

I don''t know how old your daughter is, but when my kids did that[in fact the youngest, 6months, did it this evening but because I gave her food that didn''t agree with her] I tried increasing the size of the teat? I''ve found that when they fussed like that it was because they weren''t getting as much into their ''growing'' mouths and therefore created more wind because they were drinking a lot more air than before? That''s what I did with my girls, but also if she''s on solids it might be a good idea to check what she ate that day. I hope that helps.
